were you just trying to make everyone with iPhones feel bad since they cant change batteries? haha

Ooops, that didn't even cross my mind. And actually, aren't iPhone users the likely target for this product anyway? Don't those things suck batteries like crazy? I have heard of people only getting 5 hours use before they need charging again.

I love my Blackberry more and more...

I use my phone for Pandora or Songza and also have a portable Jabra wireless speaker that I use to listen to music during non-tournament rounds. It started as an experiment to see if a 5-hour round on a packed course on a weekend could be a little more enjoyable with some music to listen to while waiting on every shot and the answer was definitely YES! Running those apps for 4-5 hours just eats the battery up so this is a great invention for me and I can't wait to use it. I contemplated buying one of the bigger "extended" batteries but that was going to cost me over $40 and makes the phone pretty bulky for when I'm not on the golf course. Buying an extra battery and keeping it charged and then keeping it in my golf bag is an option, but again you are looking at around $40 for the battery and that battery won't fit into my SkyCaddie, which I will probably also charge with this device if I forgot to charge it and left it in my bag after the last round. Not to mention my iPad mini which also might find it's way onto the golf course from time to time especially if I'm "working" from the golf course some afternoons. And there is no way that charging a cell phone or iPad is going to drain a cart battery and keep you from getting around the course.

Who's next? ;) ;)

I like that idea too!

Fans in the summer, electric heaters in the winter, and other stuff I can't think of yet.
