I have never used a glove...have looked at trying one now though that I had my driver grip slip twice in a round during a hot round...one of the worst feelings in the world (maybe a bit of exaggeration here, but you know what I mean!)

I wear on until I get around the green. For pitching/chipping and putting I take it off.

I actually wear two gloves. For the record, I was doing it before Tommy "two gloves" Gainey made it popular.

I started doing it because I play 100+ rounds a year and the wear on my hands was causing my hands to get rough and scaly.
I usually take them off when putting, unless I'm not playing well, then I say screw it and leave them on. But, that's really just a thing I do, rather than a necessity...I seem to pretty much putt the same with or without gloves. I know people say they like the 'feel' with no gloves on, they putt better...yeah, whatever. I recognize I'm not a pro and that the stroke isn't going to be thrown off one way or the other if I have a glove on. It's a path issue for me...
