I have a Windows phone so my options are limited as far as apps go. I do find that the Connected Golf app offered on Windows works fairly well though for GPS. Gives birds eye of course and holes and lets you click on the map to give you distance of where you are to where you selected.

I've actually been using the PRECISION PRO
You may have seen some of the banners floating around. Check it out. It's not too expensive and it's pretty damn accurate!

I have tried a few different apps and for a free GPS app, FunGolf GPS is really good. But what I really like is Golfshot. Great graphics, very clean looking. it will learn and save your average yeardages for each club to give you sugestions, and give a look at what your next shot yardage will be based on your club selection. Kinda becomes like a little caddy.

Yardage markers and feel. I find I try to get too cute if I know exact distances.

I use a rangefinder. Tried the watch but felt it affected my swing. More mental then anything.
