Shafts are in. Swung a couple before I left my fitters, first impression, the ball just jumps off the face. Even though I went from c taper which are 120 grams to the recoil 110, I really do not feel a weight difference. Will be on the course with them tomorrow. Will give more feed back then.

***Disclaimer my swing is crap right now***

So I have a couple of weeks playing under my belt now. I am really happy with the shaft switch. My elbow is feeling better, and not as sore after a round. As I said my swing is crap at the moment, but I am having flashes of what it is.

When I do square the ball, it just jumps. I am gaining roughly 5 yards per club and the dispersion is tight. An example of the distance gained, last night I was in heavy thick rough, grass was at least 3 inches taller than my ball. I had 125 into the center of the green, pin in the front. I hit a PW, for me is my 125 club. I figured even if I was short I would be safe. I squared the ball and it went 135 in the air. It was not a flyer either. I was happy and mad as I flew the green, LOL.

The best thing about the recoils, besides the help with the elbow, is the feel off the face. Like I said the ball just seems to jump off a lot more than they did with my C Tapers. My ball seems to be flying a bit higher, but I can control the club more. I also noticed when I hit more of a 3/4 knock down with spin, the ball comes back a lot more now. I hit a 1/2 7 iron into a par three last night and the ball spun back a good 8 feet.

So I have some work to do with my swing and figuring out my distances now with the new shafts, but all and all right now this was a great move for me.
