Is there a good way to recondition the actual metal on old putters to shine 'em up or buff them out to look factory fresh to go along with the paint? It'd be cool to know how to do so if I ever come across an old school putter at some sort of garage sale or some random location at some point.
Crazy excited to #BRINGIT with a full on Callaway setup through my bag for 2013! Stoked to #GROWTHEGAME! Eager to #GRIND and #IMPROVE! PUMPED FOR ALL THINGS GB and CLUB WARS!!!

i think that if you were to find an old rusty putter, the best look would be to clean with water, dry it off, and paint fill the rusty finish with a metallic paint. I think that would be unreal

I have only had 1 refinished. I am working a a Scotty that I have stripped the paint/finish from a Studio Design 1 so that it is in a rare metal state. I am also trying to remove the mill marks. I know it take away from the weight but I think a polished face would look nice and I have the time, I got all the mills off except for 2-3 marks that are being stubborn

Try some GooGone and gentle wash/rub the putter to remove the grime......then again when you do this, you remove the patina, most collectors like this. I on the other had want my collection to look new or polished.
