Messing around with heat treating and changing the color of my wedges. Here is a quick video of me heating it up and how hot it got. Not too happy the 1st time but heck it was fun and I think I will get better at it

I think it needs to get closer to 700* to get the color I want, going to heat it up again today

the squigly lines are from my grinding off some imperfections

dont know how to get rid of it.........hrmmmmm

That is nuts, be interesting to see color differences at 500, 600, 700 degrees. I have thought about buying some cheap clubs from goodwill and craigslist to do some custom jobs, I love the unique touches on clubs that folks add. Do you do paint jobs on your clubs as well?
