Wow, those greens look terrible. I know they want the course to play hard, but not sure I get why they push it to these levels. Those greens look like a muni courses greens.

The first time I played there was only about 4 months after it opened and the greens were SLOOOOOOOOOW, I'm talking like 6 stimp. They have always been on the slow side when I played there so I'm thinking they are attempting to speed them up but maybe they are overdoing it?

The US Open just tries to much to make it a difficult course. Really what's the point. I want to see guys really go after it. That is what makes the Masters great, guys can go after it and score well. I amateurs make the field, with some of these set ups they have had, they are already set up not to make the weekend before they start.
