I was almost annoyed by the first few days of the Open coverage - to the point it was distracting.
But, I just realized I hadn't really complained about it today - so, either it's gotten better or I'm tuned out.
I think it's gotten better.
I will say that I really like the shot tracking ability that Fox is doing for this broadcast. It really adds to the coverage.

It was a rough start but I can't complain about final round coverage.

I also really liked the shot tracking, it was needed too. At the end of the tournament, with everything on the line on 18, it was noticeable and appreciated that they just stopped talking for an extended period and let us just watch it. I think FOX might start a fantastic trend with that. I actually said to the folks I was watching the coverage with: "this is awesome, they stopped talking and just let us watch this. Jim Nantz or Johnny Miller would have been rambling for 3 minutes straight with a bunch of verbal diarrhea and it's adds nothing, I like this."

It took a little bit to get used to Fox's coverage, but by Sunday evening it wasn't too bad. I still prefer the Golf Channel over anyone else. Fox did seem to have some new views/angles that I don't think I'd seen before. And there seemed to be fewer commercials. All in all, not a bad weekend.

It started out bad..but like most of YAll said..it got better..but when they shut up on the last day on 18 with DJ was the best part..had my heart racing & didn't have to put my attention on them just talking to talk & watched DJ come up short!
