I haven't really been following the Senior Tour lately - just not that interested, to be honest.
I watch the PGA Tour religiously - even catch a few LPGA events throughout the year, but that's not what this post is about.
While waiting for the PGA Tour to start coverage today, I saw the Senior US Open was already underway so I thought I'd watch for a bit.
They were showing Tom Watson on the driving range.and I was amazed that his swing still looks this good.
He has a very athletic swing, not one that looks like an "old man's" swing. He's 65 years old and still swings like a man half his age!! I don't know how he'll do today, but he always seemed to be one of the genuine guys on Tour. I hope he does well.

I always enjoy watching Tom Watson playing golf. Well, he didn't win the Senior Open today. But I will continue to cheer for him.

I just looked up Tom Watsons swings from yesterday in some highlights, and I have to say I was very impressed as well! Don't ever watch the Senior Tour, but those guys still got some game. I was happy to see that Jeff Maggert won though. He signed a ball for me at an event when I was about 6 years old so I've been a fan of his ever since!

I enjoyed watching the tournament, lots of good golf. But is was NO WAY a US Open, I know it's over 50 players, but cmon, that course was a Web.com setup at best. I am sickened that the USGA did that to Chambers Bay and then turned around and set up a course that easy for the Sr. players. Look at the Sunday scores, good for golf fans, but a joke as a US Open.

Couldn't agree more on that.
