I finished them!! That was a crazy roller coaster of emotions. I almost didn't do it because I could barely stand to drill holes in these shoes, but I have other pairs of 11's so I finally went through with it. Pretty sure I drilled the first hole with my eyes closed. I meant to take pics as I progressed but I was pretty nervousness the whole time and just kept working. Here they are.

I'm gonna take em to the range today and see how the feel. I used connector nuts and metal threaded spikes. Standing on concrete, you can kinda feel all that going on, it's not obvious but you can feel em. But on grass, they feel just like another golf shoe. I was kinda nervous about how they'd feel

WOW THose look really cool!

It was crazy stressful doing my own shoes. I don't think I can handle the pressure of doing other peoples. I basically made this shoe worthless by drilling holes in it. And the placement of each spike is very specific as far as getting it on the spot that feels normal for my foot which I think would differ from person to person. I can show the materials I used though if you guys wanna give it a go. But I did get my shoe a half size up so I could put an extra insert for extra cushion to mask the feel of the connector nuts. I put a site in one of my comments earlier and if you don't mind paying I would check them out. Custom cleats.com

They look pretty sweet. Let us know how they performed on the range when you get a chance.
