Choosing a ball to match your swing is just as difficult as  choosing the right set of clubs these days. Companies are threading the line with USGA rules to perfect a golf ball that matches an array of different swings while trying to fix players problems areas. Through Bridgestone's online ball fitting, because I consistently shoot between 80-84 , they recommend the Tour B330RX.

The Tour B330RX offers a reformulated mantle layer and Dual Dimple Technology. The reformulated mantle reduces spin on full shots and promotes a higher launch, resulting in greater accuracy and distance. The Dual Dimple pattern offers superior aerodynamics and enhanced wind performance. The B330-RX continues to feature a soft core design that allows maximum compression for moderate swing speed players.

After 6 rounds of golf using the Tour B330RX, I can say that I am very impressed. Although my swing speed tops out around 117mph (and the B330RX is for under 105mph), I was getting about the same distance and accuracy as any other ball I have been playing (TP5, ProV1X). Contact and control with my mid to long irons have been spot on but there is something missing around the greens with my wedges. Feel is very good but there is a lack of spin and check. I had too many chips and lobs run passed the hole for my game.

When holding the ball you will notice the dimple pattern is different than most as the ball uses Bridgstone's 330 dual dimple technology for a consistent flight. There is a little more of a matte feel which I like very much and I don't know if it from using the optic yellow balls but the durability is probably the best of any ball I have tested.

I think Bridgestone has done a great job with their ball fitting and they are making it easier for golfers to choose a ball that matches their game. Aside from spin control around the greens for me, off the tee box and in the fairways  was fantastic. Durability is the best I have tested and I have to say I really enjoyed playing with the Tour B330RX.
