Dang. Looks like I'll have to see how I like them when Titleist comes to town. As of now, I'm between the D-100, Titleist 913 D2, and the R1 and the RocketBallz Stage 2. If it isn't the D-100, I might trade it in to get some credit towards some new woods and a driver (my coach finally said it's time!)

Ahh I gotcha. Sorry about that. I hope it works, because I like the look of it! What if it makes its way into the alternate bag? I might have actually reached a good spot with it.

Which fairway woods are you looking at btw?

Well, so far all I have tried are the Ping G25's. Those feel pretty nice. TaylorMade, Titleist, and Callaway come to CVCC (my home course) on May 25th and 26th, so I'm gonna look at stuff then also. I've been reading up on both drivers and fairway woods, and just from reviews, stats, descriptions, etc. I hope I like the Titleist stuff or the TaylorMade. Those would look really nice in my bag, and I think would feel very nice in my hands haha

what type of swing do you have? sweep? digger? hit at the ball? hit through the ball? hit low on the face? high on the face?

Asked my coach this stuff today at my lesson, and here are the answers: I don't sweep, but I don't dig. I hit down on the ball. I hit it in the middle of the face, sometimes a little lower, but not a lot. I also hit through the ball.

Had some beer from a local micro brewery that sponsors the tourney I was in. No Label Brewery is their name and I had 1st Street Ale and Ridgeback brews. 1st is a Blonde brewed with some rice grown locally and Ridgeback is a Dark Amber. They were really good.

Bill, Dottie didnt show up. We are doing a segment on the Solheim Cup coming up in August. We got lucky that its in our own backyard so I cant wait to go back when the US team comes in June to practice the course.

Totally with ya there on enjoying, I dunno what it is about everyone wanting to go play a round of golf but be in a major hurry, I mean arent you supposed to be out there to have fun and relax and be glad your not working or doing something else??

within reason, absolutely, but a 5 1/2 hour round behind people who are obviously not in a hurry is becoming the norm at a lot of courses. It should take 4 hours, and even that can be done without rushing. Watching some guy take 5 practice swings and then topping it 20 yards or watching another guy read a putt from 6 angles for a 15 footer and then leaving it 5 feet short drives me nuts. Too many players play and act like they are on the PGA Tour and can barely break 100, their score isn't the problem, it shouldn't take 5 1/2 hours though.

The friend i carpool with to matches is so slow i usually have to wait for an hour. his handicap is also about 60. Lol

I talked about bounce today with my coach. I needed to use the bounce more. I just totally redid the second half of my swing and my grip. I have a vardon grip now haha.

1) I'm pretty sure bounce is how much your club's leading edge is on the ground.
2) More bounce on uphill shots
3) Less bounce on downhill shots
4) Yeah of course hahaha

Looks like the bullet in the left side exited his right shoulder. On that path, it will do a lot of damage. Blood on the face looks like he was lying face down in a pool of it.
